Proteus® is manufactured from the highest quality 100% pure fluorocarbon, making it effectively invisible underwater. Designed to be stiffer to offer better presentation when required in certain situations. Engineered using the latest materials and production techniques, Proteus® delivers remarkable linear and knot strength. Proteus® is much heavier than normal mono, more than doubling the sink rate and keeping it tight to the lake bed for better concealment.

Proteus wurde von Ultima Team und Weltklasseanglern entwickelt, und wurde speziell für das Wettkampf und Turnierangeln hergestellt. Proteus ist 100% reines Fluorocarbon und sinkt nicht nur doppelt so schnell wie normale Mono, sondern ist auch im Wasser praktisch unsichtbar. Proteus wurde mit einer mittleren Steifigkeit für präzises Gefühl beim Drill hergestellt. Besonders geeignet für das Wettkampfangeln wo jeder Biss die Entscheidung bringen kann.
